Malmesbury Toyota is exploring the possibility of offering an exciting Motor Mechanic Apprenticeship Program, and we want to hear from you!
Our aim is to identify potential candidates who are eager to learn and develop their technical skills as motor mechanics. Here’s how you can get involved:
Apprenticeships Details The successful candidate will be enrolled for the CBMT Motor Mechanic Level 1 – 4 accredited courses. This is a three-year course offered by an accredited training provider. The successful candidate will also be employed as an assistant technician at Malmesbury Toyota for the duration of the apprenticeship, supporting a qualified technician. This apprenticeship is designed to combine theoretical knowledge with on-the-job, realistic application in a technical workshop setting in the Malmesbury Toyota workshop. After successful completion of the academic course work and work-integrated learning component, the candidate will be a qualified Motor Mechanic who is aptly prepared for the workforce.

- We’re considering the creation of an apprenticeship program designed to provide aspiring motor mechanics with valuable hands-on experience and comprehensive training.
- If approved, the program will offer a structured pathway for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.

- Requirements?
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Hold a Grade 12 /N3 certificate OR Grade 11 / N2 with Maths and Science as subjects.
- Be proficient in English.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport.
